We are a nationwide, government procurement service striving to make the governmental procurement process more efficient. Units of local government, including non-profits providing governmental services, are eligible to become participating members of the HGACBuy Cooperative. All contracts available to participating members of HGACBuy have been awarded by virtue of a public competitive procurement process compliant with state statutes.
HGACBuy offers contracts covering a wide variety of products and services, many of which are capital intensive.
Manufacturing surcharges may be added due to supply chain difficulties. HGACBuy is working with suppliers to confirm conditions impacting these additional cost are necessary. HGACBuy can provide supporting documentation upon request.
All products and services offered through HGACBuy have been subjected to a competitive bid or proposal process, subsequently resulting in the award of a blanket contract(s). Becoming an HGACBuy Contractor requires that you go through that process with us when we do a procurement for the products and/or services which you offer.
Becoming an HGACBuy Contractor requires perspective vendors to go through a public competitive bid/proposal process.
To become a Member and participate in purchasing through HGACBuy, you must:
Be a state agency, county, municipality, special district, or other political subdivision of a state, or a qualifying non-profit corporation (providing one or more governmental function or service)
Possess legal authority to enter into the Contract.
The Member warrants that both requirements are fulfilled by execution of an Interlocal Contract (ILC).
